• NCEA Level 2.
Entry:
• AS 90930 plus a minimum of 8 credits from NCEA Level 1 Science.
The major sections covered include:
• Ecology (which includes a field trip and looking at a current conservation issue).
• Cell structure (which includes photosynthesis, respiration, DNA).
• Animal and Plant form and function.
• Genetics – Genes, Proteins, Synthesis, mutations.
