Entry:
• Successful completion of Year 12 Classical Studies or another Social Science subject or at HOF’s discretion. You do not need to have done Year 12 Classical Studies although it is advised.
An exciting and enlightening study of our classical heritage, developing analytical thinking and research and formal writing skills. Content may include:
• A classical dinner
• Greek Vase Painting: Images of Gods, heroes and daily life
• Aristophanies: Comedy Greek style, combined with 5th Century Greek history
• Roman: Religious Old Gods, New Gods and Cults – a look at society’s beliefs
• Socrates: A philosophical approach
• Virgil: A study of the famed text Aeneid
