Economics - NCEA Level 2

Qualifications:

• NCEA Level 2 

Entry:

• 12 credits in NCEA Level 1 Economics or a similar subject, or at the discretion of the Head of Faculty. You do not have to have done Year 11 Economics, although it is recommended.

Information:

• Employment, trade, growth, inflation and how they affect households and businesses
• Use a range of skills and tools to examine these issues
• Relate economic issues to the students’ own experience
• The workings of our economic system now and in the future
• Participation in the Business Experience
• In addition to Achievement Standards, Level 2 Unit Standards may be offered (at the discretion of the class room teacher).
