Location and Facilities

The High School is in Wainuiomata, a suburb of Lower Hutt, only 15 kilometres from the centre of Wellington, the capital city. It is a medium sized co-educational school of about 950 students.

Our facilities have been heavily rebuilt and upgraded since 2002, and are now among the best in the Wellington region. They include: An auditorium, capable of seating 500, with facilities for performance of musical and stage shows A purpose-built Student Services Centre Five computer laboratories A Library with study and computer facilities A Technology centre Two full size gymnasiums and a weight training facility Six new science laboratories Modern classroom facilities Extensive floodlit sports fields
