Since its establishment in 2002 Wainuiomata High School has grown in size and reputation as a school which places high expectations on students to set and achieve goals for themselves. As the school of choice for Wainuiomata residents, and a growing number of Lower Hutt students, we aim to provide a range of learning experiences to meet the needs of all students.

A school must prepare its students for the future - a future in which successful students will have well-developed skills and will use technology confidently. Through continual exposure to modern technology students become comfortable in its use. We integrate technology into the teaching of traditional subjects as well as offering a wide variety of specific vocational courses.
