Maori Performing Arts - Year 10
Entry Requirements:
• A desire to learn and participate in the field of Māori performing arts.
• Must join the kura Kapa Haka roopu- Te Tira Whakaau.
Students will have various opportunities to participate in performances to gain confidence and experience in “stage presence.
Subjects this leads on to:
Credits towards “Te Waharoa Certificate in Māori Studies” 80 credits.
NZQA Unit Standards to Level 4. Please note the 80 credits are gained across the various kaupapa/subjects within this NZQA approved course.
