This course covers topics in both the Technology and Health curricula. Students’ class work will include theory that relates to practical situations and independent homework assignments. One Unit Standard is included in the course.

• Hygiene and safe food handling practices
• Appliances in the kitchen
• Cultural foods
• Biscuit production
