**A TRAVEL CAREERS & TRAINING STUDENT SUCCESS STORY**
Chihoko featured in Ecube a magazine for International Students with a photo and an article about herself and the course at Travel Careers and Training. She was a very well liked member of the campus, known for being energetic, friendly and social, with a great sense of humour! Chihoko had amazing standards in her grooming. She always looked stunning and had an excellent attendance record. She was a pleasure to have on the campus and it’s fantastic she has a career in the travel industry, firstly as a travel agent in China. Chihoko said her role as a travel agent was made easier by the skills she acquired at Travel Careers so she came well prepared. Chihoko is now a Flight Attendant with China Air and is following her dream of being an International Flight Attendant. Well done Chihoko! |

**ANOTHER TRAVEL CAREERS & TRAINING STUDENT
Reina was an International Student from Japan who came to New Zealand to study with Travel Careers and Training. Recently she has successfully gained a fantastic role as a Flight Attendant based in Tokyo! She will start training in April 2010. The 3 month interview process for this role included an interview in Japanese and a computer scored English exam. The interview panel were interested in the course Reina completed at Travel Careers and Training. With her English Language skills and knowledge she gained by completing the International Flight Attending course - Reina certainly stood out from the other thousand applicants.

The Institution
Wellington Institute of Technology (WelTec) has had an important place in the Wellington region for over 100 years and is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in vocational education. It is the key regional provider of vocational education, with over 150 programmes offered from its campuses in Petone and Wellington.
WelTec is a public tertiary institute established and funded by the New Zealand Government. WelTec offers a broad range of approved qualifications from certificates and diplomas to degree and graduate diploma programmes. The programme levels allow for staged pathways through the qualifications and range from Level 4 to Level 7 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
With over 11,000 part and full-time students WelTec has flexible delivery options for almost any type of study option. WelTec also offers pathway programmes in English language and academic study for those who need preparation for their area of study. International students can enrol directly from high school or after completing professional qualifications or work experience in their home countries.
Programmes are developed closely with industry professionals and WelTec enjoys a close relationship with many Industry Training Organisations, as well as individual employers and business groups. This ensures courses and qualifications are current and relevant to business and employment needs. Many of our students have gone on to exciting employment opportunities after finishing their studies.
