Location and Facilities
The High School is in Wainuiomata, a suburb of Lower Hutt, only 15 kilometres from the centre of Wellington, the capital city. It is a medium sized co-educational school of about 950 students.
Our facilities have been heavily rebuilt and upgraded since 2002, and are now among the best in the Wellington region. They include:
- An auditorium, capable of seating 500, with facilities for performance of musical and stage shows
- A purpose-built Student Services Centre
- Five computer laboratories
- A Library with study and computer facilities
- A Technology centre
- Two full size gymnasiums and a weight training facility
- Six science laboratories
- Modern classroom facilities
- Extensive floodlit sports fields
