VISION STATEMENT 
A place where excellent teaching and a passion for learning inspire young people to develop the values, competencies and knowledge needed to become life-long learners who positively contribute to society.  

Location and Facilities

The High School is in Wainuiomata, a suburb of Lower Hutt, only 15 kilometres from the centre of Wellington, the capital city. It is a medium sized co-educational school of about 950 students.

Our facilities have been heavily rebuilt and upgraded since 2002, and are now among the best in the Wellington region. They include:

  • An auditorium, capable of seating 500, with facilities for performance of musical and stage shows
  • A purpose-built Student Services Centre
  • Five computer laboratories
  • A Library with study and computer facilities
  • A Technology centre
  • Two full size gymnasiums and a weight training facility
  • Six science laboratories
  • Modern classroom facilities
  • Extensive floodlit sports fields
