Due to staff sickness we will be rostering home the following year groups to work from home on the following days:

Wednesday 09 March 2022 - Year 11

No timetabled classes onsite for Year 11 students.  Students to work on their hardpack material at home.

Year 11 students return to school on Thursday 10 March for normal timetabled lessons.

Thursday 10 March 2022 - Year 12

No timetabled classes onsite for Year 12 students.  Students to work on their hardpack material at home.

Year 12 students return to school on Friday 11 March for normal timetabled lessons.

Friday 11 March 2022 - Year 13

No timetabled classes onsite for Year 13 students.  Students to work on their hardpack material at home.

Year 13 students return to school on Monday 14 March for normal timetabled lessons.

While attending school, it is business as usual for us at WHS and the following safety measures will remain in place to help keep our students and staff safe:

- Mask wearing

- Sanitising

- Wiping of surfaces

- Staying home if sick

- Good ventilation

- Cough and sneeze etiquette

- Vaccinations.

This is an evolving situation and we will let you know at the end of this week if we need to continue rostering home next week.

Junior students (Years 9 and 10) will not be rostered home.  

All students who are well and not isolating will remain learning onsite at Wainuiomata High School unless they are rostered home.
