Pasifika Studies - NCEA Level 1

Qualifications:

• NCEA Level 1
• Literacy credits

Entry:

• Good reading and writing skills.
• Students must show enthusiasm for Pasifika history and contemporary issues facing Pacific Islanders both in New Zealand and abroad. At the discretion of the Head of Faculty.

Information:

This course is aimed at students who wish to take a purely internal based course. The course will include a variety of Internal Achievement Standards from existing Social Science Level 1 courses.

(Note: the course will include a combination of the Achievement Standards mentioned in the table below to equal a total of 24 credits offered. Students who take this course are unable to take any other Level 1 Social Science course.)

Note: All Achievement Standards offered in this course contribute to NCEA Level 1 Literacy.
