Te Waharoa General Education Levels 1/2/3

Qualifications:

• NATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF MĀORI STUDIES “TE WAHAROA” (L1-2) 80 credits.
• NATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF MĀORI STUDIES “TE NGUTU AWA” (L3-4) 80 credits.

Please note that some of the (80) credits are gained through the MPA kaupapa. These credits contribute to both certificates above as well as the Maori Performing Arts Certificate.

Entry:

• A desire to learn and participate in this kaupapa.
• Shows genuine interest from a Māori perspective in Tikanga-ā-Iwi/ Social Studies, Hītori/History, Hangarau Māti/ Materials Technology, Ngā Toi/ Arts.

Information:

• Tauira will have opportunities to learn in whare wānanga /noho marae environment.
• Tauira will have opportunity to continue to use and practice Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga during this kaupapa.
