Wearable Arts in valley schools 2010

On 13 and 14 September 2010, the Lower Hutt Town Hall was the place to be. Wainuiomata High School’s Project-Based Technology class assisted Wa Ora Montessori School to run this very professional show.

There were four sections each night - Masked Mayhem, Trash 2 Treasure, Hot off the Press and Absolutely Aotearoa.

In the primary schools category, modelled on Monday night, Maungaraki Primary School took out the top 7 places and Rata Street School finished in 8th.

On Tuesday night the remaining schools modelled their entries. St Peter and Paul’s School won 4 places, Avalon Intermediate gained 1 and the remaining 3 places went to Wainuiomata High School. The finalists were judged once more and the winners of each section were:
