MANAAKITANGA
We care about our students, that’s why we have four staff members dedicated to supporting our International students at Wainuiomata High School.
Manaakitanga, a school value, means hospitality, kindness, generosity and support. It is a Maori value which promotes the process of showing respect, thoughtfulness and care for others. Our promise is that International staff members will always reflect this value. We know it is not easy to study abroad, and our students will face lots of challenges when they start their new journey with us. We are all here to support them!
